Job Description:
Nature of Work Serve as State Director of the Lighthouse Program, a state-funded in-home service program. Duties include the following: Conduct desktop and onsite review of all 55 counties, including home visits.Train Senior Center service provider staff.Provide technical aid and support to seniorcenter service provider staff.Respond to client needs, inquiries from the Governor's Office, and questions from Legislators.Work with the state director of the Family Alzheimer's In-Home Respite (FAIR) Program to effectively utilize FAIR/Lighthouse funds.Provide year-end service reports to the Commissioner of the Bureau of Senior Services and other agencies as needed.Stay current with federal and state statutes and abide by HIPAA regulations for all client data.Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license, have experience in EXCEL, and possess a current West Virginia driver's license. Minimum Qualifications Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. OR Substitution: Experience as described below may substitute for the required training at a rate of one (1) year of experience for every thirty (30) hours of training.
