The program aide will review NYSTEP, NYBEAS, and PAYSERV transactions to ensure that appropriate guidelines are met before processing in the civil service and payroll systems. The incumbent will complete all employment verification requests, troubleshoots issues with employee compensation and health insurance transactions, and processes W-4s and Retirement System enrollments and changes. Additionally, the incumbent will answer incoming calls, respond to correspondence, handle and/or refer inquiries concerning staff from outside entities and management.
