The Program Assistant is a part of the Healthy Aging and Wellness Program (HAWP) and will provide support to HAWP clients and day center programming. Involvement includes running program activities, organizing program space, assisting clients with basic personal care and other individual needs, and supporting clients in achieving their care plan goals.
Program Assistant Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $29.28
Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience - One year of healthcare experience with elderly and/or disabled preferred.
Other Requirement(s) - Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or other Asian/Pacific Islander language proficiency preferred. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in WA state preferred or willingness to obtain sponsored licensure within the first 3 months of employment preferred.
