Job Summary: Assists Program Coordinator in the operation of the Social Adult Day Program.Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement programming with the rest of staff.
- Ensure the safety of the clients in the program, including handling problems and emergencies with maturity and professional judgement in relating to senior population.
- Escorts clients on transportation.
- Adhere to organization's standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including - but not limited to - Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regard to regulatory compliance or good business practices.
- Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.
- Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
Salary Range : $16 - $18 per hour commensurate with experienceJob Competencies and Minimum Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: High School or General Education diploma (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.
- Able to perform data entry. Must be computer literate with basic skills in Microsoft Word, excel, Outlook etc.
- Problem solving abilities while multi-tasking; ability to exercise sound judgment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Working Condition
- Business Office Environment with phone and computer use. Employee must be able to assist clients on and off van during transportation to and from the program.
