Number of Openings: 1 Job Description: SUMMARYPrimarilyresponsible for responding to student and program inquiries on behalf of the WomenIn Transition team. Provides support tothe WIT program and its participants.ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Provides supportive assistance to the WIT team
- Manages the day to day office activities of respective campus
- Maintains accurate program records and responsible for inputting records into program's database in a timely fashion
- Schedules classrooms, facilities, and workshop presenters for assigned campus
- Maintains accurate logs and organizes office bulletin boards and office space
- Assist in the data collection for preparation of program reports
- Prepares correspondences for emails and marketing purposes
- Creates the schedule for new registration appointments and assist the Student Liaison with the registration interviews
- Maintains an efficient program filing system
- Assist in developing program brochures and other marketing materials to meet the program needs
- Assists in the control, care, and inventory of departmental property, supplies and office equipment and request orders and/or repair when needed
- Greets visitors and prospective class participants, responds to request for information, places and receives phone calls, and handles mail
- Responsible for the overall coordination and supervision of work study students, volunteers, and WEP Participants on the assigned campus
- Contributes to campus's monthly reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of demonstrated office or program support experience
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Possess basic knowledge of administrative support concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations
- Possess basic-level proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively complete work assignments independently
- Ability to confidentially and discreetly handle subject matters requiring privacy and sensitivity
- Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail
- Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
