Job Description:
Assured Information Security (AIS) has an opening for a Program Control Analyst to provide project management support and financial reporting. This is a hybrid position with the ability to work onsite in Rome, NY.How You'll SucceedYou'll provide support to the CFO, Sr. Vice President of Defense & Intelligence and Defense & Intelligence Directors & Program Managers with evaluating and maintaining all financial data for contracts; ensuring our financial data is in line with contract deliverables.In addition, you'll:
  • Responsible for providing data in the preparation and analysis of complex program/project financial and scheduling data and other complex contract, project or business-related task.
  • Reports program/project cost performance against plans to facilitate contractual cost obligations are met.
  • Prepares complex financial/administrative reports and distributes to customer/user organizations.
  • Provides weekly and monthly transactional and pricing support to programs.
  • Gathers data for non-routine financial reports. Assists with coordination between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues.
  • Supports on financial issues if necessary and performs extensive investigations as required.
  • Supports internal and external data calls
  • Maintain a state of readiness, including supporting documentation, for internal and regulatory audits, which may be scheduled or unscheduled
Your Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline and 2 years' experience in an accounting/finance position or other relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 year of experience performing financial records processing and management
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) procedures and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Intermediate to advance experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

EOE/AA Disability/Veteran US Salary Range: $70,792 - $80,000 The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
