REPORTS TO: ManagerSTATUS: Non-exempt, hourly, full-timeLOCATION: Chicago, Illinois, (currently hybrid remote/in-office schedule) SALARY RANGE: $44,770 - $59,400 (commensurate with experience) ABOUT ALL CHICAGO: All Chicago MHH's mission is to unite our community and resources to provide solutions that ensure and sustain the stability of home. All Chicago MHH prevents and ends homelessness through emergency financial assistance, community partnerships, data analytics, and training and research. We strengthen our community's collective efforts to prevent and end homelessness, guided by a vision of impact, influence, and inspiration. Position Summary: All Chicago seeks a Program Coordinator to work on a team that is operating and developing new approaches All Chicago and the homeless response system's approach to homelessness prevention. This includes both the oversight of prevention financial resources as well as collaboration with other systems to prevent discharge into homelessness. Candidates approach critical thinking with curiosity to ensure understanding of problems and propose solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong and effective collaborative skill set in a team-based environment and excel at individual tasks. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for producing high quality deliverables and supporting partner agencies in performance improvement. Desired Core Competencies:

Specific Responsibilities: Program Responsibilities - 90%
  • Assist with the facilitation of meetings of stakeholders and subcontracted partners, develop relevant meeting materials, set agendas, and provide minutes/key takeaways in a timely manner.
  • Develops understanding of rules and regulations and creates materials to support others in understanding how to demonstrate compliance with them.
  • Support partner organizations in understanding roles and responsibilities, including eligibility for services and programmatic support. Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams at All Chicago to support successful implementation of prevention services.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining programmatic materials, manuals, websites and tools.
  • Maintain organizational files and documents in SharePoint for team meetings and projects.
  • Act as an ambassador for All Chicago in all settings, demonstrating a commitment to the organizational mission and Chicago Continuum of Care system priorities.
  • Respond to and address the concerns of various stakeholders in a professional and timely manner, including service providers, staff, government officials, People with Lived Experience of homelessness, and other community members.
  • Actively participate in relevant internal and external meetings, as needed and assigned.
  • Staff and/or participate in assigned CoC and/or national committees.
Administration and Other Activities - 10%
  • Creates an annual professional development plan and actively works to meet identified benchmarks throughout the year.
  • Demonstrate excellent stewardship of departmental and organizational resources.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and partners in written, oral and in-person communication in both groups and at public events.
  • Think creatively in the development, design, and creation of new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, and support.
  • Actively participates in department, committee, and staff meetings.
  • Assists with All Chicago events and other activities as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Qualifications: Successful candidates will demonstrate commitment to preventing and ending homelessness in Chicago and will have the following:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, social work, business administration or related discipline, or equivalent degree or comparable experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of social services, project management or related experience; experience with homeless services and housing programs preferred
  • Demonstrated project management experience, or experience building programs or initiatives
  • Strategic and solutions-oriented; ability to synthesize information, identify opportunities, appropriately assess risks and benefits, build support for strategies, and manage execution
  • Excellent professional writing and verbal communications skills; experience in sales or marketing a plus
  • Solid knowledge of the Chicago CoC, Outreach and Engagement programs, and homelessness strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated work ethic and integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional presence, and ability to interact with a diverse audience
  • Passion for inclusivity and diversity, and interest in being part of a multicultural team.
  • Good working knowledge/skills with Microsoft Office Suite of products including, but not limited to, Word, PowerPoint, Excel required
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
