Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY The Program Coordinator, Centers and Initiatives supports the implementation of CSWE grant and other initiatives, including student fellowship programs and other initiatives, as needed. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing grant programming from communications, participating applications, grantee orientation, and supporting programming implementation (e.g., webinars, forums, virtual and in-person meetings). T Under the direction of Director of Centers and Initiatives and other Division of Education, this person will ensure reporting requirements and administrative responsibilities are in place. Working in concert with all other CSWE divisions, the Program Coordinator, Centers and Initiatives will ensure that programming aligns with other initiatives and the organization's strategic plan. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and manage events related to centers and programming initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of grant and initiative programming and administrative tasks.
- Compile and submit programmatic reports.
- Collaborate with CSWE communications team to develop content for marketing channels-print collateral, email, website, etc.
- Collaborate with the Director of Grants and Special Projects to manage relevant grant programs including request for proposals, review process, issuing grant agreement, and tracking grantee reports
- Collaborate with all Division of Education leadership to ensure continuity in programming.
- Collaborate with and develop partnerships with relevant organizations to ensure grant implementation and strategic partnerships.
- Provide ongoing support to projects that address grant and initiative needs.
- Facilitate Advisory Board, relevant Commission and Councils meetings, as needed
- Serve as liaison for CSWE commissions and councils.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Bachelor of Social Work Education (BSW) preferred.
- Two (2) years of relevant work experience is required.
- Knowledge or experience in social work or social work education, particularly in international and diversity issues required.
- Demonstrates skill in understanding of cultural differences.
- Employs antiracist and anti-oppressive lens in their work.
- Fluency with MS Office and e-mail applications, comfortable using variety of software application.
- Successful track record in a membership organization, collaborative teams, or higher education.
- Demonstrates a commitment to antiracism, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse volunteers and volunteer groups.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.
