JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator - Compliance is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the Company's corporate compliance program and related initiatives. The Program Coordinator - Compliance supports the assessment, design, management, and effective implementation of these processes with the goal of continuous improvement.

SCOPE OF DUTIES

The duties of the Program Coordinator - Compliance shall include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

* Support the development/revision, administration, communication, and distribution of the Code of Conduct, compliance policies, communication materials and other compliance program elements. Assist with maintenance of compliance and sustainability-related pages on internal and external platforms (e.g., intranet, website).

* Coordinate administration of the Company's compliance training program, including selection and customization of training modules, development of training syllabus and assignments, and preparation of training completion reports; collaborate with relevant Company stakeholders as necessary to accomplish same.

* Support the preparation of responses to requests for information regarding the Company's compliance program and sustainability initiatives from customers, auditors, and other stakeholders.

* Support administration of the Company's vendor/third party screening and due diligence processes as directed by the Senior Counsel Compliance and/or Chief Compliance Officer.

* Assist with administration and oversight of the Company's Ethics Helpline as directed by the Senior Counsel - Compliance and/or Chief Compliance Officer.

* Act as primary liaison with compliance software providers, act as administrator for compliance software platforms. Manage compliance program-related administrative tasks and support budget efforts.

* Support preparation of compliance program reports for the Company's Board of Directors.

* Assist with the development, implementation, and oversight of compliance-related workplans and initiatives, as directed. Lead/manage specific compliance-related projects as assigned. Coordinate with compliance team members and with other departments regarding same; facilitate meetings as directed.

* The position is within Hornbeck Offshore's Compliance Department (part of the Legal Department) and requires interaction with personnel in various shoreside departments as well as with fleet personnel. It may involve occasional attendance on our vessels at our port facility in Port Fourchon, Louisiana.

* Assist the Senior Counsel - Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer as directed

* All other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 5 years' experience in legal, compliance, human resources, or another relevant field preferred, but not required.

Skills:

* Multi-Lingual (English/ Spanish/ Portuguese) is a plus but not required.

Must be willing to board and ride vessels to increase understanding of how this role supports our business.

DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Eyesight: Functional, correctable to 20/20

Hearing: Functional, correctable to normal to perceive sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make the discriminations in sound.

Speech: Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.

Mobility: Unencumbered by physical limitations to perform the following activities: Sedentary work in an office environment that includes frequent sitting, occasional standing and walking, gross and fine motor dexterity for typing and reasonable lifting of office products up to 20 lbs.

HOURS OF WORK

Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm and may be adjusted with approval by the department supervisor. Some overtime, work related travel and weekend work may be required, subject to company operational requirements. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Note: Rotation schedule may vary and is subject to change based on vessel requirements.
