Position Overview: As the Program Coordinator for our Families Fit Together Program, you'll play a vital role under the guidance of the Director of Mental Health Services, focusing on our innovative juvenile justice engagement prevention program. Your primary goal will be to foster participant and family engagement through leadership development, community service, and our engaging weekly youth and family learning curriculum. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and Inspire: Facilitate the recruitment and intake of program participants, responding to inquiries with empathy and professionalism. Build networks and connections within the community!
- Data & Outcomes Management: Oversee grant activities including data collection, reporting, and tracking outcomes to ensure our goals are met.
- Community Connection: Meet with youth and families to identify strengths and needs, supporting them in achieving their goals and connecting them with essential resources.
- Deliver Dynamic Curriculum: Lead various program curricula, including Strengthening Families and Overcoming Obstacles, creating a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
- Collaborative Spirit: Support the training and development of group leaders, ensuring everyone feels valued and equipped to make an impact.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children and families.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Social Work, Case Management, Public Health, or a related field.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus!
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to cultural competence and collaboration.
Position Details:
- Hours: Part-Time, 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
- Duration: Program runs from September 24 through December 24.

- Previous experience working with children and families.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Social Work, Case Management, Public Health, Benefits Administration, or related field
- Obtain and successfully pass state and federal criminal background check via fingerprinting.
- Utilization of Electronic Health Record System
- Reliable and punctual with ability to complete independent tasks while being part of the collaborate team and effort.
- Language Skills - Spanish and English bilingual a plus. Excellent written and verbal/nonverbal abilities in languages.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, consumers, and the general public.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Exemplary cultural competence.
