Program Coordinator (First Impressions Youth Legal Collaborative)POSITION DETAILSThe First Impressions Youth Legal Collaborative seeks to hire an Academic Program Coordinator to assist with the operations of the program. The Academic Program Coordinator will work closely with the First Impressions Director, staff, volunteers, and external partners to achieve program goals.Key Responsibilities:Program Planning and Implementation:Assist in planning, coordinating and managing program activities, events, and projects to ensure they are completed on time and within scope.Communication and Coordination:Organize and facilitate meetings related to program activities, including preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and following up on action items.Resource Management:Ensure that all necessary resources, such as materials, facilities, and equipment, are available and properly allocated. Coordinate the logistics of program activities, including scheduling, transportation, catering, and venue arrangements.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and organized records of all program activities, including participant data, meeting notes, and project documentation. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to program leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.Budget and Financial Monitoring:Assist in tracking program expenses and ensuring they align with the approved budget. Assist the Director in working with the Business Office to initiate purchases, process payments, reimbursements, and invoices related to program activities.Evaluation and Improvement:Support the development of evaluation tools and methods to measure program outcomes.Support and Training:Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions or workshops related to program activities as needed. Assist in the orientation of new staff and volunteers involved in the program as needed.This position is funded by NYS Initiative and will end at the conclusion of the grant. Nights and weekends may be required. Perform related duties as assigned.Like other staff in the Law School, you are subject to the same in-person requirements, which entail a minimum of 70% in-person on-campus presence over two weeks.
