POSITION: Program Coordinator, Carolinas Community
REPORTS TO: Sr Program Coordinator, Carolinas Community
SALARY RANGE: $50-60K
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Coordinator's primary role is to create, plan and execute programming within the Carolinas Community. This includes working closely with DO3 USA to help with the strategic growth plan of the organization, specific to this community.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Lead and execute with excellence all aspects of the Dream Experience program: work with the programming team and referral partners to identify recipients, plan logistics, secure in-kind donations, identify gifts, build itineraries + family guides and communicate with partners, sponsors and volunteers, as needed.
• Lead and execute the Day Dream program: work directly with the program team to communicate with Day Dream partners, plan, support and execute all logistical aspects.
• Work with the Sr. Program Coordinator to identify high schools for the JDT program and work directly with the faculty advisor at each high school to provide the DO3 program curriculum; supporting the student body, community and Dream recipient and family.
• Provide Dream Experience family communications; schedule family interviews, set up internal staff itinerary run-throughs & post-Dream Experience follow ups.
• Serve as a point of contact for our referral partners and families within each program area.
• Provide post-program experience follow ups & thank you packages to families + sponsors.
• Work with the program team to provide Dreambox program within the CAR community.
• Track & manage in-kind donations from each Dream Experience, Day Dream, JDT and Dreambox program in SF.com and in Sharepoint.
• Serve on the annual Dream Gala Planning Committee.
• Serve as an instrumental part of the DO3 program team and assist as needed to serve and carry out the mission of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree and/or 3 years' work experience in nonprofit sector.
• Strong commitment to relationship development and communication skills with in-kind donors and prospects.
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
• Initiator who is detailed oriented, high energy, and a self-starter who can produce results with little supervision; ability to work within a hybrid office-remote environment.
• Ability to work varying hours and travel as needed to support Dream recipients, teams and chapter's strategic growth.
