Job Description The Program Coordinator II, under general supervision, works collaboratively with leadership to plan, develop and implement programs for the School of Public & Allied Health.
This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. Responsibilities: - Support growth and program development, develop and implement policies and procedures, evaluate programs to determine compliance with federal, state, local and departmental regulations, plan goals and objectives for assigned programs instrumental to the School of Public and Allied Health/Health and Kinesiology.
- Serve as liaison between the Executive Director, direct reports and external constituents on matters relative to program initiatives.
- Coordinate the preparation of all reports and information requested from various university departments, coordinates program communications and marketing, Develop and maintain filing system for easy retrieval of documents for reporting purposes, Manage scholarship and tuition waivers.
- Performs other duties assigned.
Required Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree.
- Four years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Health or closely related field.
- Five years of experience working as program coordinator in a university setting.
- Significant experience working in a public health/university setting.
- Excellent customer service with a program participant focus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, WebEx and MS Teams.
- Be detail oriented
- Skilled in establishing effective and constructive working relationships.
- Ability to develop and oversee implementation of program policies and procedures.
- Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
- Knowledge of organization and administration of public health and/or kinesiology programs.
