Part of the process includes having volunteers raise and socialize puppies in the first year of their lives. We're seeking a self-starter with excellent customer service and administrative skills to join us at our San Rafael, CA campus as a Puppy Raising Engagement Program Coordinator. You will support puppy raising volunteers as they navigate the procedures, logistics, and necessary equipment needed to successfully raise GDB puppies.What you'll love:

What you'll do:
- Manage documentation on each dog throughout their tenure with the volunteer puppy raising community
- Engage with puppy raising volunteers via telephone, email, online chat, on video, or in person to provide support and information
- Oversee drop shipping of dog food, custom puppy packets, and recruitment bags
- Receive, upload, and enter puppy medical records in Salesforce
- Act as liaison for the Veterinary Financial Assistance program for puppy raising dogs
- Coordinate the transfer of puppies, including communication, paperwork, data entry, and supplies
- Contribute to the recruitment, recognition, and retention of puppy raising volunteers
The qualifications you'll need:
- Administrative, time management, and planning skills, as well as excellent communication and listening skills
- A sense of enthusiasm, focus, creativity, humor, and a positive outlook
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; Salesforce highly desirable
- Ability to safely handle a variety of large breed dogs, weighing up to 90 pounds
- Valid driver's license and insurability at non-risk rates
- Ability to work occasional weekend days for events, with some travel throughout the year
