About the The Simon Wiesenthal Center:The Simon Wiesenthal Center and Museum of Tolerance is looking for an organized and motivated Program Coordinator to join the Mobile Museum of Tolerance (MMOT) team remotely within New York State! In this role, you'll manage the MMOT's operations and collaborate with our bus operator, educators, and various schools, libraries, and community centers. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless experience for every MMOT visit, sharing our mission of tolerance and human rights education throughout the state.About You:You're passionate about promoting human dignity and fighting against anti-Semitism, racism, and hate. You bring strong organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail. A natural communicator, you are committed to the Simon Wiesenthal Center's mission and excel in collaborative, nonprofit environments.Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the MMOT's daily operations across New York.
- Work with the MMOT team to plan and manage the visit schedule.
- Serve as the main contact for booking and scheduling MMOT visits, coordinating logistics with schools and communities and following up with thank-you notes and surveys.
- Maintain and update shared schedules and documents.
- Contribute engaging content to MMOT social media.
- Collaborate with the SWC Communications team in Los Angeles to keep the website up-to-date.
- Support curriculum updates for digital media literacy and hate-combatting classes with the SWC Los Angeles team.
Experience and Skills:
- Reside in New York State within 2 hours of Albany, NY
- 3-5 years' experience in logistics or program coordination.
- Strong computer, social media, and website management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for handling last-minute challenges.
- Genuine commitment to human rights, tolerance, and nonprofit work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
