The Program Coordinator is responsible for the administrative responsibilities of the YouthCOR program at Northwood Academy Charter School (zip code 19124). Working with the Program Manager of the YouthCOR-Northwood program, the coordinator will ensure program quality and provide administrative support of the program. Starting Rate:$19.50 for 3 years exp and AA(salary commensurate with experience and credentials) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Uphold the mission, vision, and values of CORA Services, which includes valuing all individuals, supporting the individual's potential for growth, and enhancing a pragmatic service system approach. •Work with the Program Manager to develop and implement high quality programming within the Northwood YouthCOR Year-Round OST Program. •Assist in developing a flagship program at Northwood, providing on-site, hands-on learning and training opportunities for new staff to be prepared for high quality OST programming. •Drive program innovation, ensuring that all lesson plans and program plans are creative, grade appropriate and meet rigorous academic standards. •Accepts and fulfils material requests from staff, ensuring all staff are equipped with materials needed for high quality programming. •Connects with parents on Class Dojo, to provide open communication between the program and families. •Observe, engage, coach, and support site-based staff to ensure consistent high quality program delivery. •Assess the effectiveness of programmatic activities and make recommendations for modifications. •Serve as a point of contact for new partnerships, while maintaining strong relationships with current partners. Ensure program scheduling is smooth and communication is strong. •Support the enrollment efforts at a large program, oversee the data system of enrolling youth into CitySpan. •Support the Manager in maintaining an active Certificate of Compliance for licensing. •Oversees daily attendance, ensuring data is entered accurately and on time. •Manages the food program, ensuring the program remains in compliance with all expectations. •Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Positive Youth Development. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: •Associate's degree in Elementary Education, Human Services or related field EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: •Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an out of school time program. •Minimum of 1-3 years of administrative experience preferred. •Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, preferred. •Knowledge of and experience in lesson planning and curriculum development, teaching experience preferred. •Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a broad variety of people •Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a team •Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality •Ability to work independently, take initiative, problem solve, and follow-through on areas of responsibility •Strong attention to detail, especially with regard to recording/collecting data BENEFITS:
