About Revolution WorkshopRevolution Workshop is a nonprofit social that provides construction and woodworking workforce development for unemployed or underemployed people in partnership with area businesses. We deliver financial independence and careers through skills, hope, and resilience.Position SummaryRevolution Workshop is looking for a Program Coordinator for its Professional Pathways Program (PPP). This person will organize and coordinate the daily operations of this program and execute the case management of PPP participants. RW's Professional Pathways Program is tailored for individuals aspiring to pursue careers on the professional side of construction, engineering and architecture. Entry-level positions include: Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Engineer, Estimator and CAD drafter. This program takes place Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:30pm – 8:30pm and Saturdays 9:30am – 3:30pm.Direct ReportsThis position reports directly to the Program Manager.Roles and ResponsibilitiesMaintaining individual case management and supportive services for participants in the program, including but not limited to updates case notes on participants within the program's database such as attendance, career interests, job positions applied to, and barriers to employment.Lead in the support services both internal and external for each participant based on individual need which include but not limited to: transportation assistance, child care, financial issues, housing.Work with clients to develop plans to overcome barriers to employment through one-on-one sessions.Prepare applications and other key documents for the program such as handbook and necessary grant documents.Assist in the screening and selecting of all participants for Revolution Workshop programs through in-person interviews.Responsible for collecting all grant eligibility documentation (when applicable) and working with to input all data into various databases based on funding and program needs (IWDS, etc.)Assist with the planning and development of Revolution Workshop programs.Teach the life skills/executive functions curriculum as well as supporting other departments when co-teaching when necessary.Responsible for the promotion of Revolution Workshop program to community-based organizations by email, telephone, informationals and personal visits.Attend required all staff meetings and events.Other tasks assigned by supervisor.Nondiscrimination:It is the continuing policy of Revolution Workshop to take affirmative action to assure equal opportunity for all current and prospective employees without regard to race, color, national origin, ancestry, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, personal appearance, marital status, familial status, family responsibility, pregnancy or other pregnancy-related conditions, childbirth, disability, military/veteran status, citizenship status, religion or political affiliation, past convictions or incarceration, prior psychiatric treatment, or any other status protected by federal, state or local law.
