YCS is currently seeking a Program Director to oversee the SBYSP. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure the agency's mission is met in the services provided to students and programming is meeting needs of students/clients served.Program Director's Duties Include (But not limited to):
- Act as the agency's official representation of the facility to the community at large, including law enforcement, licensing or other regulatory groups. Establish and chair the Community Liaison Board
- Ensure program is in compliance with licensing agency requirements and oversee day-to-day operations
- Be accessible to students/clients and families
- Serve as student/client advocate
- Make recommendation in hiring, disciplinary action, promotion, and termination
- Develop yearly program goals and objectives geared at program enhancement
- Assess needs of school and community and make sure program is meeting its needs
- Cooperate with the licensee and the applicable State department, Department of Ed or division licensing unit with any legally mandated inspections or investigations
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in a human services related field
- Professional License Preferred (LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT)
- Two or more years working with youth in a group setting (inclusive of 2 years supervisory experience)
Schedule:
- Monday- Friday, hours vary
- Some weekends required
