Position Title: Program Director Location: Fergus Falls, MN HiringCompensation : Start wage is $25-$26 per hours depending upon experience and qualifications.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (preferably in human services field including, but not limited to sociology, education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology). About the job : As a Program Director,you are responsible for all aspects of our 24-hour operation of program servingpeople with intellectual/developmental disabilities, brain injuries,challenging behaviors and/or mental health needs. This includes supervision and training ofstaff , ensuring coordination and execution of person-centeredprogramming and positive support services for people served, day to daycoordination of program, maintaining records and ensuring compliance withregulatory agencies. Essential job responsibilities include, but notlimited to:
  • Develop,implement, evaluate, update, and train on each person's services, supports, andoutcomes
  • Ensure the needs and program expectations ofpersons served are met 24 hours/day
  • Follow recipes, menus and diets as ordered whenpreparing and serving meals/snacks
  • Ensuremedical treatments and medications are ordered, secured, stored, documented,and given as medically ordered
  • Communicateprofessionally and courteously with people we serve and their family members,outside services and providers, all PCS staff, and the public
  • Developand maintain staff schedules including approving/denying staff requests fortime off
  • Hire,discipline, and terminate staff in conjunction with Assistant ProgramAdministrator/Program Administrator/Regional Director/Human Resources
  • Completeemployee performance reviews and shift observations
  • Ensure documentation of daily programinformation
  • Attendand/or lead all in-services and other staff meetings
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or as dictated bylicensure
  • Must pass DHS background clearance
  • Must have valid driver's license and meetcompany driving criteria
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend andcommunicate in English
  • Must have a BA or BS degree in human servicesor a related field
