The Position:

We're looking for a passionate Adult Day Health Program Director who will be responsible for the supervision of day-to-day program operations.

  • Be present on the premises and available to participants, team members and families of participants.
  • Coordinates the development and implementation of the Center's programs, as determined by the multidisciplinary team.
  • Periodically hold team conferences to evaluate participants and adjust programs as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Plan, develop, recommend, implement, and evaluate Adult Day Care Health Program to meet the variety of needs (physical, cognitive, psychosocial), interests, abilities, routines, and preferences of each resident.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational or Physical Therapy, Gerontology, or related field. OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working with impaired persons.
  • Two years (within 5 yrs of application) of related experience in social or recreational program.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance (can be done in house).
