Program Director

Brain Balance of Fox Valley

Location: Dale,WI, USA

Date: 2025-01-02T06:33:06Z

Job Description:
Description:

Brain Balance program sessions incorporate a multimodal approach engaging multiple networks in the brain simultaneously. Exercising separate brain networks helps to mature and strengthen individual functions, as well as the ability to use many functions in a coordinated manner. For example, a student sitting in the classroom requires the ability to pay attention, block out distractions, and utilize working memory, and auditory and visual processing, while using fine motor skills to take notes. An immaturity in any one of these functions, or in the coordination of multiple functions can disrupt a student's learning experience.

The frequency, duration, and intensity of the program exercises are based on proven principles of neuroplasticity, the ability for the brain to change. Consistent repetition of specific exercises strengthens brain pathways promoting sustained improvements in development and cognition, while continued complexity of the activities based on individualized abilities maximizes engagement and progress.
