Location: Palm Beach,FL, USA
Assists with monitoring, supervision, and site management of the facility and grounds. Performs clerical duties; completes reports and required recordkeeping; responds to public inquires; uses computer for processing registrations, permits and fees; evaluates various games, sports, programs and events; sets up and takes down program equipment; ensures sport providers are compliant with permit requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification supplemented by of two (2) years of college-level coursework (must specify 60-semester/90-quarter hours) in Recreation, Education, Health and Physical Education, or closely related field; minimum of eight (8) months of experience working with children in a recreation or physical education program. Equivalency: Graduation from high school/equivalent and 18 months of related experience.
Necessary Special Requirement: Must possess current First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification at time of hire (copy of Certification may be attached to Profile/resume).
PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE: Working with adults/youth/teens; providing information; resolving customer concerns/complaints. Also desirable: Bilingual (English/Spanish/Creole).
