The Glenville YMCA is looking for dynamic and imaginative individuals to join us as a Program Instructor, Program Assistant, or a Babysitter. In these roles, you'll contribute to the Y's mission as a leading charity dedicated to enhancing the Glenville community.
CURRENT IMMEDIATE VACANCIES
* Program Instructor- Various part-time shifts available, flexible hours.
* Program Assistant- Various part-time shifts available, flexible hours.
* Babysitter- Part-time hours available: Monday- Friday 8:15am-11:45am, Monday - Thursday 4:15pm-7:45pm, Fridays 3:45-7:15pm, Saturdays 7:45am-12:15pm
PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR- $15.90 PER HOUR
Qualifications
* HS Diploma/ GED.
* College level study in a physical education, health education or recreational program preferred.
* Previous experience in coordinating a similar recreational program.
* Appropriate professional certifications.
* Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
PROGRAM ASSISTANT- $15.00 PER HOUR
Qualifications
* Minimum of 16 years of age.
* Prior organized sports or recreation experience preferred, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
* CPR preferred.
* Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
BABYSITTER- $15.00 PER HOUR
Qualifications
* Must be 16 years of age.
* Prior childcare or babysitting experience required.
* Current CPR, AED, First Aid and Babysitting Certification required.
* Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; Blood borne Pathogens to be completed within 30 days of
hire.
* Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills. Basic knowledge of computers.
* Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the
community
