Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities: As the primary administrator of the Music Development Program (MDP), the Program Lead works closely with the PE/CE team to coordinate and support various aspects of the program, including:
- The curriculum development team, classroom teachers, and instrumental instructors; assists with the development and execution of the pedagogy workshops.
- Admissions process, including applications, auditions, admission results, and customer service related to admissions.
- Student onboarding process, including tuition payments, fapiao requests, and refunds; ID creation, student information collection, consent forms; orientation events.
- Program operations, including academic affairs, student and teacher schedules, room assignments, facility's needs, campus entry issues, performance activities and events.
- Personnel management for teachers, admin support and TAs, including hiring, payroll, onboarding, and training.
- Parent relations, including MDP Parent Committee, parent open day, WeChat group management.
- Prepares reports and presentations when required; proactively addresses inquiries from current and prospective customers to meet growth targets.
- Works closely with the Director to develop an annual budget and business plan to promote and sustainably grow the Music Development Programs both at TJS and off-site.
- With Chief Program Officer and Director of PE/CE, develops and refines the educational and artistic mission of MDP.
Other roles:
- Supports PE/CE colleagues in all PE/CE programs and completes departmental tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, skills and experienceQualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Strong preference for classical music background.

- Proficient in IT, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Native Chinese speaker with fluency in English.
Experience
- A passion for education with at least 3 years of administrative experience, preferable in a music school.
- Experience in project management and teaching within an educational context is a plus.
- Experience with international organizations is preferred.
