The position is full-time with benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary Range: $43,404 - $71,582 ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Regional Off-Site Program Director, Program Management Specialist will:
- Assist in the management of assigned programs or supervision of an operational unit.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new or revised programs, procedures, practices, and organization.
- Assist in or conduct studies and analyses of programs, organizations, procedures, or systems of limited scope or assist senior specialists in more complex projects.
- Collect, compile, and organize data pertinent to various ongoing studies. Analyze, summarize, and communicate this information including budgets, academic evaluations, enrollments, etc., to appropriate officials and notify notable changes as they occur.
- Assist in the preparation of final reports, recommendations, and other information resources for the improvement of the organizational element, its programs, or business processes.
- Assist in event planning, coordinating information sessions, workshops, and recruitment outreach for programs including attending open house.
- Consult with program head and administrative officials regarding policies, trends, and interpretation of data and program needs following specific instructions.
- Conduct basic efficiency, time and cost studies and analyses of work processes and systems. Prepare simple statistical tables and charts for enrollment, staffing patterns, work-flow and organization charts.
- Establish effective communication channels and act as a liaison between the program and officials within and outside the institution. Serve as a point-of-contact for specific program related inquiries.
- Manage off-site expense reports and travel reimbursements for faculty and staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Classification 43-0000 Office and Administrative Support Occupations Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree earned from a regionally accredited institution is required.
- Two years of experience in administrative staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in administrative staff work preferably in higher education.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge of basic analytical and statistical principles and techniques for documenting, organizing
- information, delivering presentations, and processing data.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to present ideas and information clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Ability to perform mathematical computations.
- Ability to present statistical material in chart and graph form.
