Operating out of four state-of-the-artfacilities located in Connecticut, Hanwha Aerospace USA offers growth and career development opportunities to enrich your talents.Position Overview:Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a Program Management Specialist who would comprehensively understand the aircraft business and aircraft engine market trends, thus, influencing Hanwha's annual business performance and long-term growth. This role, through cooperative relationships with customers and internal organizations, would proactively organize risk mitigation plans and perform business management tasks to achieve company goals and satisfy customer demand deadlines.Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.* Manage the cooperative relationship between organizations for global site businesses and internal improvement activities.* Define KPI's impacting business goals and drive get-well plans through continuous monitoring of quantitative data and gap analysis.* Determine path forward by analyzing business issues and the cost impact on the program.* Manage the business requirement response to critical issues from an inter-departmental basis regarding process and follow up activities.* Manage the cooperative business and production activities between global sites by supporting the communication between relevant organizations.* Operate and monitor milestones, follow-up activities, and KPI's by means of continuous improvement activities.* Respond to requests such as customer visit consultations, audits, and management department meetings.* Manage the evaluation results of the business Score card by promoting activities for improvement regarding business performance.* Assign roles and responsibilities of relevant organizations regarding follow-up activities and by means of discussion with customers directly.* Perform delivery schedule adjustments, requests for allocation of raw materials supplied by customers, quality approvals, and compensation consultations in accordance to design or schedule changes.* Manage countermeasures of relevant organizations by impact review and analysis of customer requirements.Physical Demands:* Some lifting, moving instrumentation, performing tests in various areas of the facility is required.* Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 20 lbs.* Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about our facility.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering with 2 years of experience OR Master's degree.* Candidate must meet ITAR/Export requirements.* Demonstrate advanced written and verbal communication skills.* Must be able to participate in training as required.* 25-30% domestic travel required.* Execute duties as assigned by supervisor.Preferred Qualifications:* Familiarity with tools that are utilized for program management like MS office, MS project, and Smartsheet.* Experience with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Control, Supply Chain, General Finance, Budgeting and their integration.* Bilingual (Korean American) skills are preferred.AAP StatementHanwha Aerospace USA, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
