Program Manager (10K Small Businesses) Cincinnati State's 10,000 Small Businesses Program started in 2019 and is operated through Cincinnati State Technical and Community College's Workforce Development Center (WDC). The Program Manager is a grant-funded, full-time position reporting to the Director of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and will support the overall program delivery. The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) Project Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the program and continuous 10KSB outreach and recruitment. The Project Manager plays a vital management role in ensuring program operations are effective for program scholars and staff. In addition, this position will serve as point of contact for the 10KSB program-related purchasing, catering, room scheduling, and travel process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Management Provides overarching management and support for 10KSB in-person cohort by assisting Director, faculty and program team with cohort delivery, both in-person and virtually. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Attends and assists in coordination of in-person and virtual delivery logistics (catering, photos, documentation)
- Manages cohort delivery through organizing materials (e.g., print, presentations) and coordinating touchpoints such as content calls, module walkthroughs and faculty office hours
- Supports Director with general logistics, room scheduling, and other tasks as they arise related to the Goldman Sachs 10KSB program
Outreach Work directly with the 10KSB Director to support continuous outreach and recruitment for the 10,000 Small Businesses program. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Hosting program information sessions
- Recruitment engagement on social media platforms
- Attending recruitment events
- Works with Director to cultivate referral partnerships with the local small business community.
- Works with Director on managing CRM System to schedule and manage interviews, and collect and process application material
Administrative - Manage the college's dedicated email account and telephone line and ensure that requests or questions are routed to the appropriate staff
- Represents Cincinnati State as an administrator for college-sponsored events and activities
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar; or an associate's degree with equivalent experience
- A minimum of three to five years (3-5) years' work experience related to program support and event planning
- Excellent planning, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to engagement events
Preferred Qualifications - Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office
- High proficiency in creation of Social Media content used for marketing
- Knowledge of Local Small Business Support Ecosystem

This position is dependent on annual renewable full funding from the Goldman Sachs Foundation.
