Description Amoskeag Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and progressive, nonprofit primary healthcare organization that had a 30th anniversary in 2023! Our team of healthcare professionals positively impacts the health, well-being and quality of life for those we serve providing comprehensive, integrated, affordable healthcare and education to patients. We utilize a team-based model including embedded Behavioral Health Clinicians as well as Case Managers, Care Coordinators and Community Health Workers. The ACERT Manager provides leadership to the Adverse Childhood Experiences Response Team (ACERT) which is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach to addressing the negative effects of childhood trauma. The ACERT model acts as a referral mechanism that connects families and children to local trauma-informed mental health services and social supports. This is a multifaceted role requiring budgeting and finance skills for overseeing the administration of six-figure federal and state grants, superior relationship-building and communication skills for supporting local leaders new to implementing ACERT in their communities, an entrepreneurial mindset for building and growing a technical assistance center with multi-state reach, and the attention to detail required for running the day-to-day operations of the Manchester ACERT program. Critical to the success of this role is the ability to initiate, build, nurture and maintain external relationships with as diverse a cross-section of leaders as high-level city or town management, first responders, behavioral health centers, and other community-based organizations. RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in public or human service administration Experience:
  • A combined three years or more of human service experience and program planning.
  • Experience in management of contracts and grants.
