We are seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate awarded programs within our Automation Group, which specializes in creating high-quality automation and robotic cells for manufacturing applications. Candidates with a technical or analytical background, along with experience managing programs in large stamping or welding environments, are encouraged to apply.In this key position, the Program Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Delivering projects on time, within scope, and adhering to budget constraints.
- Assisting in defining project scope and objectives while ensuring technical feasibility.
- Coordinating resources to ensure seamless project execution.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, managing changes to scope, schedule, and costs, and measuring project performance.
- Traveling with the installation team (up to 15% of the time) to support on-site efforts and serve as the main point of contact for customer interactions.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate:
- Strong technical aptitude to interpret equipment and product drawings, designs, and specifications, ideally supported by a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or a Science field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage all program aspects.
- Proven organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to exercise good judgment and communicate positively and effectively.
- Experience in independently managing multiple programs valued at $5 million or more.
- The capability to prioritize competing demands effectively.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, SCRUM, or similar credentials.
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of program management experience, ideally in a large metal stamping or welding facility.
- Travel requirements include an expected time away from home of about 15% for customer visits both within the US and abroad.
- Candidates must have or be able to obtain a US Passport to support travel to international customers.
