Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to lead the performance management of our Internal Collision network. This role is crucial in supporting our operational excellence and requires a candidate who excels at streamlining processes and creating standardized systems. This position can be based at any location where Tesla operates a Collision Center.
Responsibilities - Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, field operations, rental, fleet, recruiting, supply chain, and business intelligence to set goals and targets, and develop incentive programs
- Create project timelines and business cases to support long-term growth initiatives, managing progress from ideation through approval to execution, ensuring alignment and communication with stakeholders
- Set performance targets and conduct monthly meetings with stakeholders at various levels for learnings and action plans
- Integrate operational improvements and strategic objectives into growth forecasts
- Develop strategies to scale collision repair and rental operations, enhancing asset efficiency and personnel productivity
- Travel to field locations to consult on operations, identify improvement opportunities or headquarters as necessary
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaborations with Business Analytics, developing a comprehensive reporting suite for insights on reantal car business
Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive service industry, rental car sector, or a similar field
- Proven ability to build financial business cases and demonstrate evidence-based decision-making skills to implement successful programs
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and creative problem-solving skills, particularly in dynamic environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences across all organizational levels
- Willingness to travel (approximately 30%) and accommodate time differences to support all Tesla locations
