Family Service Rochester is seeking a passionate and organized Program Manager to oversee our newly developing Family Resource Center (FRC). An FRC is a community hub, offering a wide array of services and programs aimed at strengthening families by providing essential support, resources and engaging activities to build community. As the FRC Program Manager you will:
- Design, implement and evaluate services and programs to ensure they meet the needs of families in the community as informed by the Family Advisory Board.
- Ensure that services and programs are aligned with Family Service Rochester's mission, values and goals.
- Monitor outcomes and make data-driven decisions to improve services based on best practices and National Family Support Network Standards of Quality.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities and outcomes.
- Lead and support a team of staff and volunteers by providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with community organizations, schools, businesses, and other stakeholders.
- Develop collaborative initiatives that leverage community resources to benefit families.
- Manage program budgets and resources efficiently.
- Promote the Family Resource Center's programs and services through various channels while advocating for the needs of families within the community and policymakers.
A bachelor's degree in social work, human services or related field is required and a master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in program management and community outreach, preferably in a family services setting. Demonstrated experience in program development, including needs assessment, design, implementation and evaluation are also required. A valid driver's license with dependable transportation and insurance coverage to use for work purposes is required.
