DescriptionJob Summary: The position is responsible for managing, tracking, and reporting the Global IT spend and will have direct ownership and accountability for a clean, predictable, and repeatable process for managing in a dynamic and complex environment. This role will require a keen eye for financial analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities. By effectively managing budgets, providing critical insights, and maintaining financial accuracy, this position will play a vital role in supporting informed decision-making within the IT organization. This position will also collaborate closely with the Vendor Management Team and Strategy & Transformation Team supporting day-to-day processes to enable approval for contracts, vendor invoices and requisitions.Job Responsibilities: Fiscal Stewardship · Produce comprehensive reports (details and summary) on a monthly, quarterly and YTD basis providing summary by department around Budget, Actual and Forecast as well as related variance.· Explain clearly and accurately the causes of variance supported by data. · Create presentations and reports to communicate financial performance, budget status, and provide key financial inputs for decision making and prioritization. · Partner and collaborate with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to drive the annual fiscal budget planning, ensuring alignment with the overall IT Finance strategy. Interact with the FP&A team on a periodic basis ensuring the GAAP vs. CASH view is aligned and explained. · On a cadence, present a summary by department (pillars) and by type of expense (OpEx, CapEx) etc. to the department heads helping them in tracking their part of the spend. IT Finance Operations · Track and approve invoices and expenses against the planned budget line items. · Track and report actual spend, revise forecast (re-forecast) on a cadence with an ability to present accurate forecast on-demand. · Make effective use of the tools and processes currently in place at the firm.· Bring ideas/suggestions to further streamline and simplify the budgeting and actual/forecast tracking process.QualificationsJob Requirements: 10-12 experience in Finance & Accounting, Business Management in a Technology organization. Preferred qualification of a bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent Finance and Accounting experience. Business domain knowledge of Insurance and/or Reinsurance or Financial Services in general. Understanding of IT Services outsourcing, Software Development Lifecyle, IT Infrastructure, type of contracts (T&M, Fixed Priced and Managed Services), Onshore, Offshore and Nearshore models. Ability to advise and manage expectations of stakeholders, earning trust and building durable relationships. Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders – Accountant, FP&A analysts, Technology leaders, Operations Analyst, FinOps team. Self-starter, ownership, and accountability driven, collaborative and having ability to work through uncertainties.CompensationThe below annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below he listed range and determined by a number of considerations, including but now limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment.
