**Job Description**

BAE Systems is hiring a Program Manager (PM) for our Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) efforts supporting our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business. As AMPV PM, you are directly responsible for the entire lifecycle of of new mission variant development. This includes business development aspects, engineering development, prototype build and test, and transition to production. It also includesresponsibility for growing the business through international opportunities for the AMPV.

A critical aspect of the position is working with Army stakeholders to develop and shape opportunities. The Program Manager is the primary point of contact and manages stakeholder communications with cross-functional teams, customers, and BAE Systems management on programmatic issues. You will ensure achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives; participate in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. You will be responsible for strategy maintenance and goal setting for the portfolio to grow this portion of the business. This position requires you to develop proposals and program plans that address the life-cycle of products from capture through production, and post-production support. You will also model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety, quality, and security.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Bachelor s Degree

+ Fifteen years of work experience

+ Five years program management experience, with the ability to manage coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute a project or collection of projects

+ Three years experience on a vehicle development effort

+ Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one

+ Experience in Operational and P&L responsibility at a Defense Prime/Systems Integrator with knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures

+ Experience in People Management/Leadership with the ability to fosters an inclusive workplace in which all individuals thrive and perform at their best

+ Strong business acumen enabling achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives

+ Demonstrated ability to recommend and execute a strategic vision through two business cycles

+ Ability to drive performance, operational excellence, and cultural change in a business

+ Executive presence and ability to represent the enterprise internally at senior levels and externally to senior level customers and suppliers

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with senior level leaders, customers, and suppliers

+ Ability to lead, manage, and influence stakeholders

+ Highly proficient with Microsoft Office application suite

+ Ability to act independently within established guidelines.

+ Experience leading Program Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management activities to include identification and development of risk mitigation plans, scope management, program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources

+ Knowledge of program Scope Management and Cost Estimating including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes

+ Knowledge of Program/Project Management methodologies, toolsets, process, and governance

+ Ability to effectively manage program complexities and structuring activities in times of ambiguity

+ Highly effective critical thinking skills

+ Demonstrated ability to work with personnel in the following areas to plan and execute programs: contracts, engineering, finance, facilities, logistics, material planning, supply chain, quality, operations, and USG agencies including DCMA and TACOM.

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ MBA and PMP certified

+ Knowledge of Military Operations and Government Procurement System

+ Experience in Lifecycle Management (LCM)

+ Experience in Control Account Manager (CAM) and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

+ Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
