Job Type Full-timeDescriptionNew Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. In addition, New Horizons assists 22,000 students in area schools, and we work closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to help improve the health of individuals and the quality of life in our community.We are seeking a caring and compassionate, Licensed Therapist, to take on the role of Program manager in our Mobile Response Team .As a Mobile Response Program Manager, you will be responsible for organizing, controlling and directing clinical and administrative activities for Mobile Response Services.The Mobile Response Team provides on-site assessment, crisis intervention, therapy, linkage and referral for people who are expe.riencing crisis 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Services are accessed by a referral from law enforcement officials, emergency room staff, or school officials. Services also include follow-up as needed to promote crisis resolution, evaluation and arrangement for inpatient hospitalization if necessary. Mobile Crisis services are provided by trained mental health professionals in an effort to provide safe alternatives to involuntary admission to a treatment facility. Mobile Response will respond to crisis situations in the community within two hoursYour responsibilities will include:
  • Provides overall direction for assigned Programs in Mobile Response Services
  • Manages Programs in a manner consistent with the overall goals of New Horizons of the Treasure Coast, Inc.
  • Assures that the assigned Programs achieve or exceed budgeted expectations established by New Horizons
  • Assures the quality of services provided by assisting in the development and implementation of outcome measures and implementing changes indicated as a result of outcome measures.
  • Takes primary responsibility in the interview and hiring of all program staff
  • Conduct staff development activities for assigned program staff
  • Conducts Employee Performance Evaluations
  • Works with other Program Supervisors as well as community providers and assigned employees to assure clinical and administrative continuity across programs

  • Master's Degree in a Human Services field
  • Licensed by FL Dept of Health (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Three (3) years' supervisory experience
  • Must be able to apply Therapeutic Effective Aggression Management (CPI/CARE) Techniques without limitations.
