St. Jude is searching for a Program Manager - Quality & Patient Safety in Home Care. This role will support and assist the President/Administrator in the implementation of a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program for the Agency. This role will oversee the ongoing administration of the QAPI Program and the Agencys Patient Safety Program to support compliance and survey readiness. Requires establishing and implementing processes to ensure the provision of quality care and services consistent with applicable standards, state and federal laws and regulations, and company-specific policies and guidelines.

This role will support and assist the Home Care President/Administrator in the implementation of a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program for the Agency. This role will oversee the ongoing administration of the QAPI Program and the Agency's Patient Safety Program to support compliance and survey readiness. Requires establishing and implementing processes to ensure the provision of quality care and services consistent with applicable standards, state and federal laws and regulations, and company-specific policies and guidelines.

Full-time, primarily an on-campus role. Will spend approximately 25% of the time in the direct care setting performing quality responsibilities.

Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing or health related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum Requirement: 5+ years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting with familiarity with standards of care, medical record documentation, and exposure to medical terminology.
  • Experience with quality improvement, utilization management, risk reduction/safety management, and related issues.
  • Experience working with accreditation and regulatory standards and their application to patient care.
  • Proven performance in earlier role.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by Law:

  • (LC: RN TN) a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure non-Compact state
  • (LC: RN ARK or RN Miss) Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or comparable certification must be obtained within 3 years of hire.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by SJCRH Only:

  • Current Driver's License required.
  • Proof of insurance required.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $86,320 - $154,960 per year for the role of Program Manager I - Quality Improvement & Patient Safety, Home Care.
