Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to oversee the development and acquisition of major weapon systems for the Department of Defense (DoD) contracting market. This individual will leverage their program management expertise within the DoD sector to ensure successful project execution, adherence to budget and schedule, and achievement of program goals. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Accounting from a regionally accredited U.S. institution recognized by the Department of Education.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive program management experience, with five (5) years specifically in the DoD contracting market for the development and acquisition of major weapon systems.
  • One of the following:
    • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification. OR
    • An additional five (5) years of program management experience in the DoD contracting market for the development and acquisition of major weapon systems (totaling 15 years of experience).
  • Proven ability to develop and manage program schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Extensive experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of DoD contracting regulations and acquisition processes.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field (Engineering Management, Business Administration, etc.).
  • Security clearance (e.g., Secret, Top Secret).
  • Experience with specific DoD acquisition programs or methodologies (e.g., Defense Acquisition System (DAS)).
