Job Type Full-time Description Who We Are Founded in 1999, Maryland Coalition of Families (MCF) is a statewide nonprofit with a central office in Columbia, Md., and staff located in communities throughout the state. Using personal experience as parents, caregivers, youth, and other loved ones, we connect, support, and empower Maryland's families. Our staff provide one-to-one support to parents and primary caregivers of loved ones with mental health, substance use and gambling issues. We also advocate to improve systems that impact individuals with behavioral health challenges. Overview The Program Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the training, supervision, and professional development of Team Supervisors, who in turn manage Family Peer Support Specialists. The Program Manager is instrumental in fostering and maintaining partnerships that align with and advance the organization's objectives. This statewide role necessitates occasional visits to the Central Office in Columbia. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Provide Non-Profit Management Expertise :- Utilize extensive experience in non-profit management to offer guidance and support to Team Supervisors in the effective management of programs and personnel. - Leverage knowledge of non-profit operations to ensure compliance with regulations and optimize organizational efficiency. 2. Grant Award Management: - Demonstrate proficiency in managing grant awards, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with grant requirements. - Oversee the allocation of grant funds to support program initiatives and organizational goals. 3. Lead Training and Development: - Provide training, supervision, and professional development to Team Supervisors, emphasizing the unique challenges and opportunities within the non-profit sector. - Equip Team Supervisors with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively manage grant-funded programs and initiatives. 4.
