The successful candidate will lead the planning, execution, and implementation of various technology solutions while maintaining alignment with the organization's strategy, commitments, and goals. This leadership role requires extensive experience with large Transformation implementations, project management methodologies, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of various Technology solution programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Develop detailed program plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
  • Use Agile project management methodologies to drive projects to completion, on-time, and within budget.
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of program execution, including tracking key program performance metrics such as cost, schedule, and quality indicators and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Implement project management methodologies in compliance with industry standards, stimulate innovation and the adoption of best practices, and offer subject matter expertise to IT team members and business partners involved in the Transformation Programs.
  • Direct the implementation of projects within a Program/s.
  • Manage the risk profile of projects within a Program/s.
  • Provide counsel to IT demand and resource management concerning resource forecasts, resource mobility, and immediate resource requirements for the projects within a Program/s.
  • Assist the Ascot organization in creating core processes and best practices.
  • Provide leadership and necessary oversight to managing vendors on the program/s.
  • Ensure the creation and implementation of suitable knowledge management processes for the projects/programs.
  • Showcase leadership presence and the ability to effectively manage and coordinate multiple or conflicting objectives in various situations related to the projects/programs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, in the insurance industry strongly preferred.
  • 6 years of insurance platforms experience required (i.e. Guidewire)
  • Proven experience in program management, (Guidewire platforms is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of insurance business processes including underwriting.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Superior problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in financial management and budgeting.
Compensation Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual cash bonus, long-term incentives, and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company. The annualized base pay range for this role in the NY Metro Area is $155,000 - $175,000.
