Job DescriptionPrimary Function: •Daily interface with internal and external customers to determine their needs and priorities •Process purchase orders, verify engineering status, check job histories, analyze future needs, validate WIP and inventory levels •Monthly (bi-monthly) program reviews of customer demand, finished goods (stock), hardware and tooling requirements •Requisition and evaluate material requirements •Release orders to production to support lead-time demand and monitor process flow •Audit Min/Max levels and manage VOI sales •Schedule/coordinate new program review meetings •Maintain customer files - active & inactive •Expedite urgent requirements •Update monthly / weekly customer reports •Analyze/interpret various internal MRP reports (E2-Shoptech System). •Production Team member - participant in weekly meetings - plan and coordinate, production schedule with key personnel, assist with annual inventory •Costing out Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) •Navigate customer Portals: Northrop (OASIS), Boeing (EXOstar/BPN), Bell Helicopter, Cessna (Textron portal), Bombardier, Spirit, Gulfstream (ESIS) UTAS (Aerovantex), •Develop, track, and obtain yearly and quarterly goals •Assist supervisors and managers to identity and resolve production problems. •Limited travelingSecondary Function •Cross train - Shipping / Outside Processing •Coordinate daily shipments via daily ship sheet with team (quality, shipping, customer service, and accounting). •Billing and Invoicing (Close out and invoice daily shipments as required). •Preparation of final shipping documents, call truck lines, complete bills of lading, etc. •Purchase order requirements on outbound product and receivers on inbound product •Daily Register - create monthly worksheets, enter sales and bookings data daily, interpret imbedded Excel formulas and distribute to internal employees •Maintain finished goods file •General Support.Skills required: •High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. •2-3 years customer service experience beneficial •Strong communication skills, problem solving, time management. •Knowledge of MS application.
