We leverage existing Anduril drone platforms like Ghost, Altius, or Roadrunner, in addition to bringing 3rd party platforms into Anduril's Lattice ecosystem. We develop perception and autonomy algorithms to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers. In your role as Technical Program Manager you will be an expert on mission execution, Anduril products, and managing relationships as we seek to advance the art of possible for large drone teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO Grow and lead a portion of the Virtual Warfare (VW) team, focused on crafting compelling wargaming and analysis products and communicating those solutions effectively with VW customers, both internally and externally.Lead, manage, and execute technical programs, from early stage design through to technology development, system integration, testing and deployment, and management of a growing engineering team.Rapidly integrate and immerse yourself in Anduril's current processes and build effective relationships with personnel across multiple business lines. Provide meaningful insight into current and future customer needs.Develop solutions, provide accurate and timely accounting of resources, and ensure crisp communication at all levels.Partner deeply with engineering leaders to drive successful program execution and team velocity across groups of engineering teams and more broadly across departments.Build trust with Anduril teammates, vendors, partners, and potential customers through effective communication and follow-through.Forge longstanding customer relationships by working closely with Anduril Growth personnel.Autonomously execute on broad and/or ambiguous requirements from internal engineering, program office, and third party corporate partners.Coordinate and execute frequent test events involving various levels of software and hardware.Demonstrate high ownership on all pieces of work; become a trusted partner to both Government Partners and Anduril's engineers.Manage, unblock, and accelerate cross-team projects spanning multiple functional teams.Collaborate closely with other partner teams, such as hardware, product, and test operations as needed.Remove obstacles to drive clarity and progress, identify gaps in communication or schedule, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams.Understand technical implementation at the architectural level and propose technical alternatives when necessary.Understand the capabilities and limitations of Anduril systems and 3rd party platforms.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, Engineering or applicable discipline specific to the needs of the MD Team.5+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer.Deep familiarity with rotorcraft and the military customer.Demonstrated experience successfully leading & managing products/programs inside and outside the military and technology sectors.Familiarity with DoD, Drones, HMIs, Mesh Radios, eVTOL, urban Air Mobility.Ability to establish cross-functional relationships, solve problems proactively, and communicate effectively.Ability to lead an engineering team in the development and execution of different contracted and strategic efforts.Proven experience delivering technology to government organizations or large commercial institutions.Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges and risks.Strong experience in project management and project management technologies (e.g. JIRA and Confluence); practical familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and with minimal direction.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.Must be willing to travel 50%. Some international.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer in an autonomous systems, robotics, or software development environment.Significant customer-facing experience leading high profile and high stakes programs.Experience with Defense Acquisition Processes.Experience in building programs for software deliverables from the ground up.US Salary Range: $108,000 - $162,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
