The Midwest Office's programming promotes civic participation, access to equitable education services, addressing food insecurity and providing hunger relief, improving digital skilling, and providing services and grants to partners on the ground.Who We SeekHispanic Federation seeks a Program Manager to support the Midwest Office's program initiatives and aid in the development of programmatic support for Latino students and families. The Midwest Program Manager will support the organization's local and statewide education portfolio, work to develop partnerships with community-based organizations, and provide support for other Midwest Office Programs.The successful candidate will have experience working with Chicago's communities of color and underserved, unrepresented community members; an interest in program implementation; and strong administrative skills. The position will support multiple programmatic priorities and will connect with other members of the Hispanic Federation Team, including members of the Headquarters Team in New York City. The position will require daily onsite presence and may involve supporting offsite programs and events from time to time.Position Location: Chicago, ILReports to: Midwest Programs Director and Senior Director for Education ProgramsJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport program execution and logistics for HF's education programs in the Midwest, liaise with partner schools, vendors, and venues for programmatic events.Maintain relationships with campus liaisons and school officials, and support site visits, ensuring program success.Manage relationships with Latino professionals from nonprofit, government, and private sectors to serve as career mentors and support Leader Day events.Support data collection through survey tools and other methods to support program evaluation.Support all HF Midwest office efforts and special events and programs focused on empowering Latino families and strengthening Latino institutions.Assist in HF Midwest Office administration and operational tasks and responsibilities as assigned.Skills and QualificationsA bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience; a background in program management is required.Strong ability to manage budgets, set deadlines, oversee multiple projects, facilitate meetings, and plan events simultaneously.Experience working with diverse communities, supporting programmatic, policy implementation, and advocacy platforms.Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is an asset.A demonstrated commitment to the Latino community is strongly preferred.Efficient and results-oriented with high energy and an exceptional ability to work with others.Strong commitment to Hispanic Federation's mission and core values.Experience working with government officials and community-based organizations serving diverse communities in Chicago and across the Midwest is preferred.Compensation and Benefits:Position salary starting at $55,000 - $65,000, and salary is commensurate with experience.
