Job Description:

The PILOTs Program Manager provides support, training and supervision to outreach staff that assist individuals with co-occurring disorders of mental illness and chemical addiction in their efforts to live independently in the community. The Program Manager works within the program's model, establishing open communication, support, and accountability among co-workers and staff. The Program Manager is responsible for the training and supervision of all full time outreach staff. They will be required to make changes in schedules and time based on the program and client needs. Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Implementing Housing Options for Long-term Success (PILOTS) team
  • Train and supervise outreach staff to ensure appropriate service delivery through field
  • Assists outreach staff with time management: manages logistics of client coverage and assists when necessary
  • Participates in on-call system to ensure service delivery minimum coverage standard to ensure timely and effective service delivery
  • Through this program, the Support Specialist PILOTS staff will use a counseling approach that uses both motivational interviewing and harm-reduction
  • Provide assistant to staff in securing housing, move-in, relocations, interventions in eviction processes, rent arrears and housing stability
  • Provide crisis intervention
Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree in Mental Health related field preferred
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • One year supervisory experience required
  • Extensive experience in human services strongly preferred
