EOE Statement PCX Aerosystems is an equal opportunity employer. Description It is an exciting time at PCX and we are looking for a high energy, dedicated candidate. The program manager plays a key role in ensuring the successful execution of one or more products at different stages of their life cycles. They are responsible for managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems, as well as leading contract negotiations and coordinating the preparation of proposals and business plans. The program manager serves as the primary point of contact for program activities with customers and is involved in expanding the product line. Additionally, they work closely with the business development team to enhance the organization's business portfolio and lead monthly program reviews. The Program Manager is responsible for multiple programs, in both development and production phases. This critical role is part of the management team in a dynamic engineering and manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: - Responsible for tracking, reporting, and managing the overall program schedule as well as activities in the customer's statement of work. - Effectively communicates program schedule/developments to the customer utilizing strong communication and organization skills. - Manages multiple programs and successfully drives critical path items to completion by advocating for the customer across internal departments. - Works with internal teams to ensure schedule clarity and alignment - Communicates actions needed to support the schedules. Identifies blockers and suggests solutions. - Work with engineering, operations and management to plan timing of new product introductions. Compensation Range: This position falls into a pay range with a minimum of $115,000 and a midpoint of $155,000 based on experience and eduation. Position RequirementsCharacteristics: - Hands-on and eager to make plans become reality. - Able to work with all departments of the company to ensure program daily tasks are completed. - Highly functional in a dynamic, challenging environment. - Collaborative and curious in nature, with good interpersonal and communication skills. - Available to support multiple shifts and work extended hours as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in mechanical engineering from four-year college or university and 5+ years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project. - Proficient with MS Office or Google Workspace applications. - U.S. Person, as defined by ITAR/EAR regulations. Preferred Skills and Experience: - Degree in engineering or related fields, and experience with technical products. - 5+ years of practical experience in manufacturing, especially in a high-mix environment. - Skilled with spreadsheets, project management software. - Knowledge of aerospace industry.
