Our culture encourages growth, diversity, and inclusion, and our motto, We are One, reflects our unity and purposeEssential functions:The Program Manager VI will be responsible for successfully leading cross-functional Agile teams, building trusting long-term client relationships, and managing contract scope, budget, and schedule supporting web applications and digital solutions development and operations and maintenance for federal government contracts.In this role, you will:
  • Supervise and lead the technical teams working on design, development, quality assurance, and operations and maintenance of web applications and digital solutions for a variety of federal programs
  • Cross-collaborate with PMs and Program Managers on similar projects
  • Manage contract budgets, scope, and schedule and ensure timely execution while monitoring risks and supporting resource staffing needs
  • Lead teams with accountability for the completion of team delivery efforts, including quality oversight and client acceptance
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and stakeholders for long-term partnerships by meeting regularly to ensure priorities are documented, engaging key stakeholders and team leads in collaborative conversations, allowing technical experts to lead technical discussions, clarifying requirements so team leads can support technical teams as they begin discovery
  • Support team leads as they guide their technical teams in end-to-end solution processes, serving as the guide on the side, allowing them to lead their efforts with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure team lead responsibilities and expectations are clear and being met effectively by team leads so that the teams are able to solution well together and deliver successfully for clients
  • Serve on proposal teams for identified pursuits where your expertise on web applications and digital solutions apply, to support growth in this area
Job requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience leading Agile teams, serving in a lead role on technology and digital projects.
  • Provide leadership, advice, and guidance in a timely fashion to our customers, with excellent communication and organizational skills, opening lines of communication with the client and team leads, as appropriate, promoting a culture of a shared purpose and goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance, directly supervising team members, with performance management and review responsibilities quarterly, guiding performance improvements and goal setting, with follow up and tracking issues, where necessary.
  • Ability to recognize and acknowledge exceptional performance of employees to ensure that team members feel appreciated and valued.
  • Experience with employees having performance issues, including documenting issues, having difficult conversations, taking difficult steps when needed, working with employees on improvement plans, and coaching, working with Human Resources, as needed.
  • An understanding of federal contracts is key for this role, contracting processes unique in the federal space, managing scope, schedule, budget; building relationships and regularly meeting with CORs, and COs when needed; and managing Subcontracts, as needed.
  • Significant experience functioning within an Agile framework, working with scrum teams and partnering with Scrum Masters to lead team success.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certification/experience
  • Proven capability to strategically grow and maintain customer and teaming partner relationships
