About the Program:WSMR supports National Security interests by providing the warfighter with data collection and analysis, instrumentation development, modeling and simulation, research, assessment, and technical services. The Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) preserves the Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) infrastructure and associated workforce as national assets to provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) capabilities to support DOD acquisitions. WSTC is a tenant on WSMR. The range is about 40 miles wide and 100 miles long, not including ranching communities to the west and north that accommodate call-ups for long range mission operations. WSMR is the largest overland testing facility in the DoD, stretching across the northern Chihuahuan Desert. At over 2.2 million acres, terrain consists of mountains, grasslands, shrub lands, alkali flats, gypsum dunes and lava flows.Duties and Responsibilities:* Organizes, plans, schedules, and controls all support and engineering work.* Be a responsible company official with authority to obligate the company regarding contractual and financial matters.* Primary liaison with the Government and must have a technical and administrative grasp of all contractual requirements.* Supervises all Contractor personnel engaged on this contract and is responsible for the day-to-day operations including cost control, planning, reporting and project schedules.* Manage all resources to implement work requirements to their timely and successful completion.Qualifications:* US Citizens who possess a Top Secret level clearance IAW DOD regulations* A valid bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; advanced degrees preferable* Ten (10) years of demonstrated engineering and management experience on contracts OR projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope* Work experience AND demonstrated leadership responsibilities on at least three large projects or programs utilizing civil, mechanical, computer, electrical and electronics engineering disciplines* Experience reviewing and approving the work of project managers, engineers, support staff and contract administrative personnel* Two (2) years of experience, demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD contracting process* Two (2) years of experience, demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD acquisition process specifically related to the test career field* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with documented supervisory experience* Well-organized, results-oriented, energetic, team player with proven decision-making abilityBenefits:* 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Medical and Dental Plans, Life and Disability insurance, Education Assistance (and more).JANUS strives to provide opportunities for career growth through training and development.
