Job Description:

The Program Manager, Youth Services is responsible for overseeing the daily functioning of all youth services delivered by the Restorative Justice department. This position works directly with the Director of Restorative Justice to ensure all levels of programming and outreach meet the mission of CORA Services and collaborative expectations of funders and partners. Starting Salary:$62,118/yearESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of CORA Services, which includes valuing all individuals, supporting the individual's potential for growth, and enhancing a pragmatic service system approach.
  • Supervise and streamline daily operations and programming for all youth services with a primary focus on the Youth Diversion Program and the Transforming Justice Hub.
  • Foster an empowering team culture rooted in zeal, mutual accountability, and a disciplined passion for our transformative mission
  • Deliver in-person youth programming on a regular basis, including weekend and evening hours.
  • Supervise and manage direct service staff, ensuring services are carried out in ways that are consistent with agency and division missions, department practices, restorative and socially just principles, and funder/partner needs.
  • Develop and facilitate course curriculum for the Youth Diversion Program and the Transforming Justice Hub.
  • Build relationships with schools, community partners, stakeholders, and referral sources through committees, meetings, and outreach presentations to forge new opportunities for program delivery.
  • Launch new sites for programming and curate supplies and other resources for program delivery.
  • Liaison with CORA's operation teams to meet the programs' administrative needs.
  • Assist with additional trainings and conflict resolution services as needed.
  • Manage data collection and recordkeeping; produce reports and other materials as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, as needed.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Master's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience facilitating restorative justice models and/or grassroots community organizing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching/serving teens.
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience with project management and/or supervisory experience
  • Experience with office administration systems and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to lead presentations Candidates with bilingual proficiency are preferred.
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and the ability to quickly adapt to new software and technology is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the systemic causes of injustice and violence within marginalized communities with the ability to develop supportive and trusting relationships with people directly impacted by these issues.
  • Candidate with valid driver's license required and ability to transport program supplies.
  • Enthusiasm for the mission of CORA GSM and loyalty to the goals and objectives of CORA GSM.
