Job Description:

Amentum is seeking an enthusiastic Program Scheduler to join the team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for:

* Developing and managing schedules for all projects in the Annapolis Junction Office.

* Providing critical path analysis, identifying problem areas, and creating work-around solutions.

* Preparing and submitting monthly reports for internal and external clients.

* Advising the team on matters affecting project success, schedule and cost impacts, and developing project recovery plans.

* Being a participant in project management teams to assist in meeting project deadlines.

* Developing and maintaining a change management program.

* Identifying out of scope work items and assisting in creating change order requests to be presented to client, including estimated cost and schedule impacts.

* Reviewing and recommending action on change order claims from subcontractors.

* Within area of responsibility, consistently identifying potential project problems or opportunities in a proactive manner, analyzing the issues using all appropriate resources, developing alternatives and arriving at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities.

* Interfacing with internal project teams and external clients.

Qualifications:

* Preferred - Bachelors degree in Engineering/Construction Management and 2+ years of experience in the Construction Industry or equivalent experience.

* Preferred - Scheduling Software Experience (ie. MS Project, Primavera P6, etc.)

* Required - High Level of Computer Proficiency (ie. MS365 Suite)

* Required - US Citizenship
