OverviewThis position works with Vermont's veteran population and organizations that work to serve veterans. Day to day activities include certifying veterans eligibility for State and Federal benefits to include veteran registration plates, veteran designation on their driver's license, and a veteran property tax reduction program to mentions a few. We also work with veterans families for benefits they may be eligible for. The office operates and manages the Vermont Veteran Memorial Cemetery. This position works to pre-qualify veterans and eligible family members for interment at the cemetery and schedule burials at the time of need.
