Program Specialist | Mountain Laurel Recovery Center | Westfield, PennsylvaniaAbout the Job:The Program Specialist provides and oversees the delivery and implementation of behavioral health or recovery programs within a facility.Roles and Responsibilities:•Co-leads groups, participates in curriculum development for the program and collaborate with treatment team members to help the clients meet their treatment and care goals.•Monitors clients to evaluate treatment progress.•Intervenes in crisis situations to assist clients.•Modifies treatment plans to accommodate clients' needs.•Collaborates with other professionals to assess needs or plan treatments of clients.•May counsel family members of clients.•May assist clients by coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating).•Assists in the oversight and maintenance of the program schedule.•Coordinates the activities of other program staff and oversee the work of interns as applicable.•High School diploma or equivalent required.
