- Analyzes end-user needs and develops user-oriented solutions which interface with existing applications
- Designs the systems or programs and coordinates the review of specification, testing and final user sign-off
- Assist with New customer/supplier setup
- Assist with New Document type setup and development
- Coordinates all aspects of implementation and training to support new programs/system, including user documentation
- Recommends improved operational procedures to maximize systems efficiency.
- Ensures system integrity, assists in installation of technological upgrades.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills THE MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 4+ years' experience using iSeries, RPGIII/VI, ILE, CLP, DBU, and SQL
- AS400 and EDI experience
- API development a plus
- Strong analytical skills a must
- Familiarity with other similar providers like Ariba a plus
- Familiar with translation softwares
- Familiar with direct communications as well as VAN setup and communication
- Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals
- Ability to quickly build relationships with internal customers
- Strong leadership skills
